iFaith tool developed by a famous hacker iH8sn0w considered as a best alternate to TinyUmbrella. Previously it was upgraded to version 1.4 which brought support to save SHSH blobs of iOS 5.0.x firmware even knowing that Apple has stopped signing it. Now an incremental update has been released to iFaith by the developer which is numbered as 1.4.1. This newly released iFaith 1.4.1 version brings support for Apple TV 4.4.4 Firmware as well as Tiny Umbrella blobs.

If you are new to this, iFaith is a utility not only provides an option to Save SHSH blobs but also produce signed IPSW. Developer behind its development is iH8sn0w has given an option to the users to save SHSH blobs even after Apple has stopped signing your current firmware. Moreover, the best part is that iFaith dumps the SHSH blobs physically on your iPhone, iPad or iPod.

You can download iFaith 1.4.1 from here and follow the procedure here on how to use it.
The edge that iFaith has over TinyUmbrella [already covered] is that if Apple has stopped signing your firmware even then you can have your older blobs saved e.g. Apple is only signing iOS 4.3.5 and if your device is on 4.1 then you can only sign 4.3.5 from Apple but iFaith lets you sign even 4.2.1 and store its SHSH blobs.

Your SHSH blobs are saved which can be used to downgrade your firmware in future. If you are planning to downgrade you might like to see TinyUmbrella, SnowBreeze, PwnageTool, Redsn0w or JailbreakMe.
