Great news for Android lovers! Yesterday we informed you about Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for HTC Desire. Today, Gingerbread update for DROID X2 has been released for Android users. Just go to “Menu>Settings>About phone>System updates” and download it now you make your phone fully updated.
The update, which is going to be over-the air and bring a great deal of improvements on top of existing Android 2.3. These improvements includes enhancements to the Gallery and Calendar apps, an updated version of MotoBlur and the best of all full 1080p video playback. Battery life has also been improved in Gingerbread 2.3.3 upgrade.
For those new readers that don’t exactly remember the Droid X2, the device features a 4.1-inch LCD display, an 8-megapixel camera, and Motorola’s Motoblur UI. In addition to that, the X2 is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and has 1GB of RAM too. It is an absolute beast of a phone, hands down.
