SMS Censor – Block Incoming SMS based on Keywords Filter on iPhone

In the past we have reviewed Jailbreak Applications to block incoming Calls and SMS based on Mobile number in which one of the famous recent posted Application is iBlacklist however you might not be able to completely get rid of Spam SMSs as these companies keep on changing mobile numbers. But now Jailbreak community has further refined the blocking to Keywords Filters using the Application SMS Censor. SMS Censor allows you to defined Keywords which you don’t want to received as SMS content so based on these Keywords every SMS is scanned and if keyword is found its blocked with display of a notification.

SMS Censor does not have any home screen icons rather you can configure Keywords from Settings Menu. You can also enable or disable the application from Settings along with list of confirmed SMS which fall under your keyword criteria. Improvements in notifications using status bar icons and managing Black and White list may be added in future revisions.

SMS Censor 1.0 is available for Jailbroken iPhone for a price of 0.99 US$ however it can be installed from xSellize Repo using the procedure here for trial purposes but if you like the tweak please buy it from Cydia.
