Jailbreak iOS 5 Beta 6 Using Redsn0w 0.9.8b6 Jetblue Edition For Windows And Mac

If you are a regular Koolmobile visitor you must have seen that Apple has released iOS 5 Beta 6 last week for which complete Changelog and Sn0wbreeze Jailbreak Procedure was reviewed. The Jailbreak procedure using SnowBreeze for iOS 5 Beta 6 contained minor bugs and crashes therefore Muscle nerd has come up with latest release of Redsnow 0.9.8b6 code named Jetblue has been released. This release of Redsn0w provides tethered boot support for iPhone 4, iPad, iPad 2, iPod Touch 3 and iPod Touch 4 meaning you have to reconnect your iDevice with PC/Mac to boot.

As per  iPhone Dev-Team blog,

We’ve released redsn0w 0.9.8b6 to jailbreak iOS5 beta6 (point it directly at the beta6 IPSW). Two important notes about this version: (1) Please let your device boot normally to IOS5b6 and do a clean shutdown (slide to power off) before jailbreaking. (2) Boot logos have intentionally been disabled for now, so you’ll see a black screen on tethered boots (you can re-enable logos or verbose boot with command-line options if you really want them back).

Due increased sensitivity to abrupt filesystem shutdowns in IOS5b6, it’s very important that you do a clean shutdown before running redsn0w.

Redsn0w by DevTeam has released this jetblue edition for iOS 5 Beta 6 launch and is expected to release final Redsn0w 0.9.8 on final iOS 5 release (may be with untethered support alteast for iPhone 4 and below).

You can download iOS 5 Beta 6 from here and iTunes 10.5 Beta 6 can be downloaded from here. You can download Redsn0w 0.9.8b6:
