Today Pangu team has release Jailbreak for iOS 9.1 and along with this they have announced on their twitter account that next week they will be releasing jailbreak for Apple TV 4 which is as of yet not been Jailbroken since release.
We will release jb for Apple TV4(9.0.x) next week which only has SSH access. It’s mainly for security researchers and jailbreak developers.
As for now Pangu team only target SSH access rather than complete GUI as it will allow Jailbreakers and Security researchers to access portions of Apple TV 4 which in normal case are kept hidden. It will open new ways for modifications and customizations for tvOS especially theming default GUI.
However if you have already upgraded your device to tvOS 9.1 then you are out of luck as the current update will only allow jailbreaking for tvOS 9.0 and tvOS 9.0.1 moreover as as iOS you are unable to downgrade to previous versions so need to wait even longer.
Still it will mark as start of new beginning as tweaks will start coming up for Apple TV 4.
