Previously we reported you that iPhone hacker Pod2g has got hold of iPhone 4S and now he has started testing his untethered Jailbreak work on the newer device. Now after testing over the the weekend, hacker has shared some interesting results. Although the initial testing has been failed due to some processor cache issues but he believes that it has something to do with multicore cache management. He also mentions that he is working very hard to find out the exact reason.
From Hacker:
The untether fails right now because I’m having processor cache issues.
I’m close, but I can’t figure out what happens. It certainly has something to do with the multicore cache management.
Although hacker is currently busy in testing first A5 device whereas work on A4 devices which includes iPad (First Generation), iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, Apple TV has been successfully complete. Therefore, it is expected that Untethered jailbreaking solution for all those A4 devices will be made public just before Christmas.
