HTC Flyer Bootloader Unlocking Using HTC Web Tool

A month back we reported the official launch of HTC Developers Portal with the name of HTCdev.com. Within the month launch, HTC initially added bootloader unlock for limited number of HTC Sensation Handsets which later on updated. Just few days ago we also reported an unofficial bootloader unlock for XPERIA X8, X10 devices.

This time great news has come for HTC Flyer users as HTC has released the bootloader unlock using HTC Web Tool. This latest bootloader unlock for HTC Flyer has been added to the bottom of the list of unlockable devices over on HTCDev.com. The best part of it is, varity of  flavors of  HTC Flyer, including the international Wifi-only and 3G versions have been added in the list. However, you must need to ensure that your device is running the correct firmware version along with fully updated in order for the web tool to start working.

In case if you are not familiar about bootloader unlocking subject, Once you are able to unlock the bootloader of your device, it will allow you to install different variants of Android custom ROMs such as MIUI which hasn’t been approved by HTC. However, unlocking bootloader is a risk job plus it definitely void your warranty even if you do it using HTC tools. Still interested. So sure you know what you are doing before you actually start doing it.
