Bring iPhone Settings Panel Shortcuts on Your Home Screen [Free and No Jailbreak Required]

Since no untethered jailbreak has been released yet for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices running iOS 5 firmware so developers have now trying to bring such solutions which can be implemented without requiring jailbreak. For instance, recently we reported you about an Icon Project, an appstore app which cost only 99 Cents and allows you to create custom icons or shortcuts to your favorite settings and the best part of this app is that it doesn’t require any jailbreak.

Now an alternative web based solution has been devised by Jeff Broderick gives you the same functionality which is available in Icon Project app but free of cost. All you have to do is just follow the simple procedure mentioned below in order to install it on your devices.

Procedure

1-   Launch Safari and open URL: brdrck.me/settings

2-   You will find iPhone Settings panel icons on the home page of the website.

3-   Click on any icon for which you want to have a shorcut  and press the install button which will save it on your iPhone Home Screen.

If you have a jailbroken device then obviously Cydia SBSettings app allows you to turn your apps on/off, Reboot/Poweroff your iPhone, Respring any many more. Applications will red color icons are “OFF” and  applications with green color icons are “ON”. You can open SBSetting menu by swiping your finger right or left at the top of the iPhone screen.
