How to Create SBSettings Like Shortcuts on iPhone Home Screen, No Jailbreak Required

I am sure you are already aware of Cydia SBSettings jailbreak App which was quite popular in  iOS 3 & iOS 4 but after the launch of iOS 5 now developers have integrated most of SBSettings features into iOS 5 Notification Center. For newbies SBSettings allows you to turn your apps on/off, Reboot/Poweroff your iPhone, Respring any many more. Applications will red color icons are “OFF” and applications with green color icons are “ON”. You can open SBSetting menu by swiping your finger right or left at the top of the iPhone screen.

Users who owns iPhone 4S must be waiting for it’s jailbreak to come out so that application like SBSettings can be installed to make things quickly enable and disable such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Airplane mode. However, unfortunately we never expected a jailbreak for iPhone 4S to be released this soon anyway. Instead of that Icon Project, An appstore app which cost only 99 Cents allows you to create custom icons or shortcuts to your favorite settings and the best part of this app is that it doesn’t require any jailbreak.

Although it won’t be considered as a 100% replacement of SBSettings since it locates specific sections of the Settings app as compared to actual shortcuts but at least you have a smart way until a jailbreak is released.
