Share Cydia Apps and Tweaks Links[How to Tutorial]

You must have thought of sharing Cydia Apps and Tweaks with your friends but unable to find out the exact link which will be required to send to your friends. Actually, Cydia doesn’t have any Tell a Friend option like App Store has. However, there has been a way which allows you to quickly share links to your favorite Cydia packages. Here i am going to write down steps through which you can share the links of your favorite Cydia Apps with your friends.

1-   Launch Cydia application from springboard and go to any package.

2-  Select any package as highlighted in red color which will navigate it into its description page.

3-   Tap and hold the Change Package Settings option which will bring up a menu with a Copy function.

4-   Pressing ‘Copy‘ button will copy the package’s URL to your clipboard. Paste the link , delete the /settings part at the end of the URL highlighted in red color. Otherwise it will open up that package’s Settings page.

5-   After finish deleting the “Settings” part, you can send the link to your friend through SMS or Email etc.

Note:-

It is must that containing repository will be required to download the file which means if the application you are sending a link to is in the BigBoss repo then same will also be required in their sources for it to work.
