Saving SHSH Blobs using iSHSHit for iPhone, iPad, iPod – Updated for iOS 4.3.4

Recently i have covered Saving SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella however there is an easy way of saving that without TinyUmbrella. As already empisized in my previous post that you may need to downgrade your iOS either to preserve your baseband or  the iOS performance is buggy then you require SHSH blobs for that iOS version.

Therefore in order to save you SHSH blobs jailbreak community has come up with an easy solution that is iSHSHit Cydia application. This application has been recently upgraded to save 4.3.4 blobs.

Procedure

  1. Open Cydia and Search for iSHSHit.
  2. Install and Run iSHSHit
  3. Select you phone and then select firmware version you are using and press save at the top right corner and there you go your SHSH blobs have been saved.
  4.  Now goto Manage SHSH and you will see Blobs there as show in snap below.
  5. Congratulations you have saved your SHSH blobs backup however note that if you want to restore or downgrade you firmware use this guide.
You can also take a look at How to Jailbreak using SnowBreeze, PwnageTool, Redsn0w or JailbreakMe.
I recommend everyone to atleast save their SHSH blobs even if they dont require it now but some day it will help you in downgrading your device (if needed)
