It didn’t take long for the Custom mod developers to Port IceCream Sandwich Android 4.0 on Samsung Galaxy S II even before the official launch of IceCream Sandwich for the device. Although Samsung has panned to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S II to IceCream Sandwich but it is expected in early 2012 but developers at XDA were fast this time to develop MIUI ROM. The release of this MIUI ROM is a combination of goodies from GalnetMIUI 1.11.2 and CM7 for the AT&T Galaxy S II. This ROM has been confirmed tested by XDA Developers on Samsung Galaxy S II on AT&T.
One thing you have to bear in mind that its still MIUI rather than complete ICS UI elements. So after the ROM is handed over to the OEM they have to add their own customized themeing and features to make this a perfect combination for Samsung Galaxy S II running IceCream Sandwich. But for now its only the rooted AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II which can enjoy the feast.
Some of the major features of MIUI ROM 1.11.7 ICS V1 are,
-Created rom using galnetmiui 1.11.7 ICS & CM7 11
-Edited build.prop
-Fixed home & search buttons
-Fixed Audio issue
-Added Nexus Prime Boot Animation
