Redsn0w 0.9.10b2 and Corona 5.0.1 Untether 1.0-3 Update Released to Resolve Launchctl Error

Those who have missed one of the biggest news of year 2011, iPhone-Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team released
iOS 5.0/5.0.1 Untethered jailbreak for A4 devices iPad (FirstGeneration), iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 devices. Users who are using no jailbroken device running  5.0/5.0.1 firmware can use RedSn0w whereas those who are already using tethered jailbroken device running iOS 5.0.1 can make it Untethered by installing a small tweak called Corona 5.0.1 Untether.

However, after performing jailbreak users faced launchctl error which is used to assist the tool to load and unload daemons. It is therefore some Cydia apps that are dependent on daemons did not work well with the iOS 5.0.1 untether whose list we have already mentioned in Resolve iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Bugs post. Now in order to resolve this launchctl error  iPhone-Dev Team has released RedSn0w 0.9.10b2 and Chronic Dev Team has updated Corona 5.0.1 Untether version upto 1.0-3.

From iPhone-Dev Team:

The b2 version of redsn0w includes the launchctl-related fix by @planetbeing as mentioned by @saurik here and here.  As usual, you can just re-run redsn0w in jailbreak mode over your existing 5.0.1 jailbreak (even a PwnageTool one), making sure to de-select “Install Cydia” if you do.  Always be sure to do a controlled “slide to power off” shutdown of your device before running redsn0w.

You can download RedSn0w 0.9.10b2 for Windows from here and for Mac from here
