Nook Tablet 7-inch IPS LCD screen, 1GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM Officially Announced

As reported earlier that Barnes & Nobles will be announcing the Nook Tablet during Media Event on November 7th which was revealed as the invitation letter was leaked. During the event the eBook company has revealed their Nook Tablet to challenge Amazon Kindle Fire for $199. So here we go for the announcement,

The Nook Tablet contains 7-inch IPS LCD screen which is much thiner and lighter in color than its predecessor, it weighs even less than a pound. under the hood lies a 1GHz dual-core Texas Instruments CPU with whopping 1GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage including external storage option.

In addition the real differentiator is the content which includes Hulu Plus for Media streaming, Netflix, Pandora, thousands of Android apps and obviously access to more than 2 Million books which means access to almost all the inventory of the famous Book Seller B&N.

With these specifications and content it may give a tough challenge to iPad 2 whereas for Amazon Kindle Fire its a sure real competitor. Still the pricing and release information is to be announced which will be updated as side by side.
