How to Enable Multitouch Gestures on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch without Jailbreak – Mac

If you are iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, iPod Touch 3 or iPod Touch 4 user you would love to have newly incorporated MultiTouch Gestures on your device. Jailbreak community has found a way to enable MultiTouch Gestures without the need to Jailbreak using your Mac. MultiTouch Gestures include Close four or five fingers together to return to the home screen, Scroll up or down with four or five fingers to view the multitasking tray and Scroll left or right with four or five fingers to switch between open apps. There MultiTouch Gestures have been kept hidden in iOS 4.3 but you still can activate them using procedure below.

In this post we will tell you the complete Step by Step procedure to activate MultiTouch Gestures on your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, iPod Touch 3 or iPod Touch 4 via Limera1n.

  1. Download Apple’s Development Tool Xcode from here.
  2. Connect your iDevice with your Mac and open Xcode > Window > Organizer
  3. A new Window will open then choose your Device from list and click on ‘Use for Development’

  4. Xcode will  check your firmware and MultiTouch Gestures will be activated.
Note: The same procedure can also be used for the Jailbroken Devices as well.
