As we already aware that iPhone Dev Team including MuscleNerd and Sherif Hashim didn’t turn out to be successful yet in unlocking ofc on 2.10.04/3.10.01/4.10.01 Basebands. However, they still though that they could possibly unlock these iOS for permanent.
So if you are already tired of waiting for software based unlock then Gevey Team have you covered and providing a remedy to unlock iOS 4.1.x, 4.2.x, 4.3.x on 2.10.04/3.10.01/4.10.01 Basebands. It basically works by forcing the activation of the baseband using the emergency dialer.
Now i am going to write step by step procedure to unlock your iPhone using Gevey SIM.
1- Cut your SIM into standard Micrso size. Place the Gevey SIM interposer in SIM tray and then place your micro SIM card on SIM interposer. Make sure that your SIM card sits properly on SIM interposer and the SIM interposer sits properly on SIM tray.
2- Go to “Settings” to ensure if your “Data Roaming” is on. Turn off your iPhone by pressing the “Power” button.
3- Insert your Gevey SIM trey which includes both Gevey SIM Imposer and Micro SIM Card in iPhone. Turn your iPhone ON and wait until you get Gevey Pro welcome message. If for some reason, welcome message does not appear the go to Settings -> Phone -> SIM Applications and choose English language.
4- Press the “Accept” once you see the Gevey Welcome message and wait till you see 1-signal bar.
5- Open the phone KeyPad and dial 112. After exactly 2 second press the “End” button to hang-up the call.
6- Go to “Settings” and Turn ON the “AirPlane mode”. Don’t do anything until you see “NO SIM CARD INSTALLED” message. Once you see the “NO SIM CARD INSTALLED” message press the “OK” button to close the message and Turn “AirPlane Mode” back to OFF.
6- “SIM FAILURE” message will pop up. Press the “OK” button to close the message and wait until you still full signal bars in status bar of your iPhone.
