Apple’s Hong Kong website listing of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus before release

Apple With Apple’s most talked about event of the year, the 7th September launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus about to start in a few hours , there has been much hype created prior to the event ,with numerous discussions on many social media platforms pertaining to the features and specs of the two Flagship phones expected to be the most popular phones of 2016. Both phones are expected to come with a huge array of upgrades from their predecessors, both inb terms of hardware and software upgrades in addition to being aesthetically more beautiful. According to a Reddit user “Jaspergreenham” , the Hong Kong Apple website is claimed to contain various information pertaining to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus ,probably mistakenly being updated on the website before the 7 September launch.

As is shown above, on the left- handed column there are options,, according to the model of the smartphone , enabling the user to choose a specific model ,however there is an option for both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (which have not yet been launched).

According to the Reddit user, the error had been amended before the page had been refreshed . This report confirms the suspicion over at least the name of the phones that are to be launched today, providing confirmation to the fact that they will be named iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Suspicions of another name were partly due to the fact that there are minimal changes .made to the design of the phones and therefore the iPhone 7 name might not be used this year .

Pre-Orders for the phones are expected to begin as of 9th September ,with the Release and available date expected to be Friday 16th September. The iPhone 7 and 7Plus are to be unveiled in just a few hours time.
