Apple Store app v2.0 released with EasyPay self-checkout, Track your stuff and Personal Pickup options

Apple Store Application for iOS which allows you to purchase Apple products including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, Macbook has been updated with version 2.0. With this upgrade one of the major feature of EasyPay self checkout had been introduced which allows you to scan the bar code of the product you re interested in which will lead you to the product details and reviews by other users. If you are interested the application will ask you to login to your iTunes ID and checkout will be automatically done using your payment information from iTunes ID. So not only you can buy accessories for Apple devices but also you can purchase iPhone 4, iPhone 4S etc. second feature of Personal pickup is rather simple as you can visit your nearest store as displayed on checkout and collect the purchased item with an hour.

Although both these features are quite attractive but sadly they are only available in US only but we expect that after successful implementation and desired out Apple might expand the same to other countries around the globe. Also the update provides you with tracking feature under new order submenu which can provide you DHL styled shipping progress and tracking.

Some of the major features of Apple Store v 2 are,

• Personal Pickup: Buy in the app and choose to pick up your order at any Apple Retail Store. Most in-stock orders are available for pickup within an hour. (U.S. only)
• EasyPay: Purchase select accessories in store quickly by scanning the barcode and completing your transaction right in the app. (U.S. only, requires iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S)
• Track your stuff: View the status of current and previous orders from the order status section in the More tab.
• Additional international support (Canada, China).
