Apple is going to hold a press conference on 5 October about upcoming iPhone 5 features and description. Most of the reports that we have shared earlier been mostly centered around next iPhone revision but now we have got some information about the next-generation iPod touch.
Apple is planning to release a white iPod touch and a revised iPod nano in mid-October, according to a MacRumors report.
MacRumors has received information indicating that the next iPod touch revision will be a very minor change, with the primary addition being the introduction of a new white model. Only minor changes are expected for the existing hardware, with the addition of an oleophobic coating for the display and a revised ambient light sensor seemingly being the main differences. Otherwise, we expect the models to be nearly identical to the current fourth-generation iPod touch model.
In past few days we have reported that Sprint will start offering iPhone 5 from next month then iPhone 5 Reservations Started for Deutsche Telekom was revealed. Also purportedly Vodafone UK Lists iPhone 5 16GB and 32GBand Change in Delivery Schedule for All Apple Devices on Online Stores also hinted the incoming iPhone 5 lunch. All these news caution that launch is pretty close. The new models of White iPod Touch are expected to be announced alongside the iPhone.
