HTC has been reported to have been working on a new joint venture with Facebook,after the moderate success of there previous joint ventures,namely the Chacha and Salsa, to develop a new Android Smartphone designed specifically with a ‘platform exclusive to Facebook’ allowing users to use all the functions available on Facebook,which will now be available in the new handset.this latest handset is set to be released in the second half of this year,according to inside sources,as reported by Digitimes.
It is further reported that Facebook is planning to brand new smartphones as a development strategy for future expansion,although it is still unclear whether these claims are true,its more likely that there will be a HTC phone with facebook software rather than a phone specifically branded by Facebook.
