If you are Android Phone owner then you must be already aware that Google has recently started video and voice chat service on their Google Talk App for Android. The only limitation it came out with that it was only supported on devices running Android 2.3.4. Finally after alot of efforts a work around has been identified through which you can install Google Talk on phones which aren’t on Android 2.3.4. Thanks to XDA-Developers community who managed to get it work on most phones running Android 2.3.

2- You phone must be rooted. If you have Samsung Galaxy SII then follow our post on how to to Root Samsung
Galaxy SII.
3- It is also recommended that you should make a backup using ROM Manager and/or Titanium Backup. Although the guide is safe but anything can go wrong so be sure you have a backup!
You you have ensure the prerequisites then just follow the below mentioned guide in order to make it work on your Android Phone.
1- Download a .zip file of Google Talk from here and copy it to the root of your Android phone’s SD card.
2- Download and install ROM Manager from here.

5- Your phone will again reboot but this time it will reboot into ClockworkMod recovery mode. scroll down to wipe cache partition using your phone’s volume up/down keys and the home button and press yes to wipe cache.
Note:- If you can’t boot into ClockworkMod recovery mode from ROM Manager, it can also be done automatically by shutting down your phone and then restarting it by holding Volume Up+Home+Power.
6- Similarly go to advanced > wipe dalvik cache > yes – wipe dalvik cache. Go back to main menu using power/lock button.
7- This will be important step so you must do it carefully. Just go back to your SD Card where you have copied Gtalk zip file.
