Huawei Vision Unveiled – A Unibody 1 GHz Android 2.3 Smartphone

Hauwei is famous for its mid range Android phones as the company is highly subsidized by Government of China. Although there had been many talks about copyright infringements, patents etc but Huawei has turned up to be World number 2 in telecom industry by beating some of the industry leaders likes Nokia Siemens, Nortel etc and only second to Erricson.

But the best part is that Huawei is coming up with Telecom industries top of the line equipment and now its Smartphone press release. Huawei has unveiled its high end Vision 2.3 Android with sleekest design more or less similar to Nexus S.  Huawei Vision is 3.7″ display with 1 GHz snapdragon MSM8255 processor (same as other Google high-end phones). Moreover the Camera section contains 5 MP camera supporting whopping 720p video recording, 512 MB of RAM and 2GB of internal memory is on board. The intresting part is 9.9mm thick 3D carousel display which supports 3D dome screen transitions same as HTC Sense UI.

The phone is set to be released in September this year and till now there is no news about costing but keeping the past range its expected to be 200-250US$.

Huawei Vision has an aluminum alloy uni-body in rose gold, silver or charcoal, and a curve touch design. Vision measures only 9.9mm at its thinnest point and at around 121g, weighs less than a bottle of perfume or aftershave. It supports 720P video recording and features a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash. With Bluetooth V2.1 with A2DP, high-speed WiFi 802.11b/g/n internet connectivity, and full range of messaging capabilities including SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM, makes staying connected with friends and family even easier.

The interface allows you to select any panel of the home screen with one easy swipe and makes it easy to prioritize the application view to suit your needs. With Vision’s 3D interface, you can explore features and programs with a single tap.

Huawei Vision will be available in selected markets from September. Vision offers access to the full range of Android apps, and comes pre-installed with ‘Angry Birds’, ‘Asphalt 6: Adrenaline’, ‘Order & Chaos Online’, and ‘Guerrilla Bob HD’.
