How To Manually Install Cydia 1.1.3 iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad [Tutorial]

Users who were on non jailbroken devices can run latest Redns0w 0.9.10b3 for iOS 5.0.1 Untether jailbreak whereas who were already on tethered jailbreak can make it Untether by just installing Corona 5.0.1 Untether jailbreak tweak. The only disadvantege of using Corona 5.0.1 Untether method is, you won’t get Cydia 1.1.3 minor update which is automatically installed while jailbreaking through RedSn0w. Follow the below mentioned small procedure in order to install Cydia 1.1.3 minor update on your device running iOS 5.0.1 firmware if you have jailbroken through Corona 5.0.1 Untether.

Procedure

1-   Open this guide on your iPhone browser as it won’t be done through computer.

2-   Download Cydia 1.1.3 from here through your iPhone.

3-   It will launch Safari page, choose “Open in iFile”.

4-   Now Choose the “Installer” which will start install iFile on your device.

5-   Installation will take 5 minutes to complete.

6-   Once completed launch Cydia and check the new version at the bottom of your Cydia.
