Apple is taking great interest in copying iOS’ features and putting them to their latest Mac operating system OS X Lion. One of the feature which has been taken from iOS is the ability to auto hide scrollbars in apps such as Safari while you are not actually scrolling down/up. This features look good when you are using it on iPhone but it makes you feel irritated when you use it on your Mac System. However, Apple has been putting these iOS features just to make Lion look cooler than other operating systems out there.
So if you are annoyed of this auto hide scrollbar feature while using OS X Lion and want to revert to the old setting of always showing the scrollbars then just follow below mentioned step by step guide:-
1- Select System Preferences from the Apple menu at the top left of your screen.
2- Select General from the System Preferences window.
3- Choose Always from the Show scroll bars option list as highlighted in red color
4- Now you check open your safari browser and check if your scrollbar now stays forever.
