AppStore for Microsoft Windows 8 Confirmed by Steve Sinofsky Microsoft Windows Cheif [News]

Mircrosoft has been working on providing AppStore for quite some time now which is not a secret anymore. Recently Microsoft’s Windows chief Steve Sinofsky said that We are ready to start discussing Windows 8 and today he has announced that which all teams are a t work on Windows 8 and on which portfolios.

Out of all the Portfolios the most noted feature is Windows App Store and a complete team working on this segment. The concept of AppStore emerged from Apple success in AppStore for iDevices and Macs which is now transforming in to all major software firms.

There was a hype created in April 2011 on Leaked Screenshots of Windows AppStore by CnBeta,

Although concept of AppStore for Microsoft is not new as Windows Vista contained Windows Market but the idea was not a success and later dropped in current version of Windows 7 but certainly with name AppStore we may mingle it with Microsoft copying Apple.
