It has been reported through Digitimes that Apple is planning to release a new Thinner 15″ Inch Macbook in March 2012. Shipment of small number of components for a 15″ ultra-thin notebook will begin in November whereas huge shipment will be starting from March 2010.
Upstream suppliers of Apple have recently started shipping a small volume of components for a 15-inch ultra-thin notebook model from Apple in November and the device could be either MacBook Air or just a thinner MacBook Pro. The new MacBook is expected to appear as early as the second quarter of 2012, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.

However, Digitimes can’t confirm that if those parts will be used for 15″ MacBook Air or a thinner 15″ MacBook Pro. We have also reported you before that Apple is planning to completely revamp its Macbook Pro lineup by replacing the Optical Drive with USB only storage solution which means an ultra or table version of Macbook Air in 15 inch could be launched as well. In addition to that, MacBook Pro has also been upgraded with with faster processors and more storage space whereas the price remained same.
