3G iPod Touch in development at Apple [Dutch Site Claims]

The rumors of iPod Touch having 3G capabilities has been floating wound for quite a long time and couple of devices have been launched similar in shape to iPhone but without any SIM data capabilities. However recently a Dutch site AppleSpot claims that Apple is planning to to launch 3G capable iPod Touch along with next generation iPhone a.k.a iPhone 5. Purportedly the 3G iPod Touch is already being manufactured as in the case of iPhone 5 and also the iPod will rely on GSM SIM to provide 3G service. 3G iPod Touch will use operators data networks only as being used in case of 3G iPad 2 currently.

Authenticity of Dutch site is not verified as no rumor so far has turned true. The claims says,

After talking with multiple people over the past few weeks, we had a lengthy chat with one person who gift us great news about the next iPod Touch. We’ve overused this person in the past, but They did Qualify Their remarks, saying the iPod Touch That Should changes make it, but there’s no guarantee the changes Will Be ready for fall. The 3G iPod Touch idea intrigued us so much back in July, and we’ve been trying to find one of our contacts who can give some Credence to the idea. A few have Declined to comment, while others honestly have no idea, but the source for this report Says That Apple is indeed working on a 3G iPod Touch. Apple is intent on announcing the device constantly Their September Event Which They Usually save for Their iPod line, but Will include the iPhone as well this year.
