It was only a while ago when famous iPhone hacker and member of Chronic Dev Team Pod2g released iOS 5.0.1 Untethered jailbreak for A4 devices which includes iPad (First Generation), iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4. Users who were on non jailbroken devices can run latest Redns0w 0.9.10b3 for iOS 5.0.1 Untether jailbreak whereas who were already on tethered jailbreak can make it Untether by just installing Corona 5.0.1 Untether jailbreak tweak.

We are hearing news coming from another famous hacker Stefan Esser, better known as i0n1c who also released  iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak now has a solution to Untether jailbreak iOS 5.1.  News came out from three different sources Veeence, i0n1c and pod2g who shared messages on the twitter:

Basically as soon as pod2g released an Untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1, i0n1c confirmed on the twitter that all exploit which were discovered in iOS 5.1 are still alive which means he will use them for iOS 5.1 Untethered jailbreak. Same was then confirmed by Veeence on twitter in which he mentioned that i0n1c has already dicovered some exploits which then be used to untether iOS 5.1.
