WeatherIcon 6 for iOS 6 iPhone 5/4S/4, iPod Touch & iPad

Finally the wait is over, WeatherIcon has been updated to work with iOS 6 on iPhone 5, iPod Touch and iPad. It is one of the most anticipated Jailbreak tweak which allows you to show real time weather updates right on the icon of weather application. Thereby you can get glimpse of current weather right on the icon rather than opening the application itself.

You can see the difference of before and after installing WeatherIcon 6,

All you need is Jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with Cydia install. Simple goto Cydia and search for WeatherIcon 6 which is under ModMyi Repo and install followed by re-spring. You can configure Status bar updates from Settings>Notification>Weather Widgets.

Note: LibStatusBar is currently being updated hence Status Bar icons might not work it final update has been made available. Moreover for WeatherIcon 6 not working with Winterboard theme see from iFile inside /var/stash/Themes/Your Theme/Bundles/com.ashman.WeatherIcon/… day@2x and night@2x pngs should be there otherwise default WeatherIcon layout will be shown.
