Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5 Exploit found by Chronic Dev Team Member

What we have all been waiting for is an iOS 5 untethered Jailbreak so we all can enjoy the goodies of unofficial applications, themes and tweaks which are not available officially via AppStore.  After the release of iOS 5 everyone was expecting that Chronic Dev Team will come up with untethered Jailbreak really soon however the new ticket/token based session initiation applied by Apple ruined all the exploits found even in A5 chips which were expected to yield lifetime Jailbreak went for a six. However today’s news by Chronic Dev Team member had revived that Jailbreak community is still working on untethered iOS 5 jailbreak,

Although no dates have been confirmed by the Dev Team however they are working hard to make it to the public as soon as possible. The news regarding untethered Jailbreak was also covered few weeks back according to which GreenPoison will be upgraded to support upcoming jailbreak.

It is expected that the untethered Jailbreak will be released in November as still the Jailbreak is in the early stages. The Jailbreak has become a bit tricky due to the addition of new A5 processor chips and the developers are working hard to find some hardware exploits with no success so far therefore work on software exploits is in progress. It is explected that we will hear from P0sixninja soon on the update of GreenPois0n iOS 5 Untethered Jailbreak. However in the mean time if you have already upgraded on iOS 5 on your iPhone 4 or iPad 2 you can use the Redsn0w Semi tethered iOS 5 Jailbreak.
