I am sure most of iOS users have already been upgraded to Apple’s latest iOS 5 operating system which has brought some amazing features for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. Among all new features, Notification Center is of the best feature which allow users to get a quick access to their SMS, Miss Call, Facebook etc notifications along with a small preview of what the notification is about by just pulling down your status bar which is placed on the top of your iPhone. The only problem with these notifications and alerts is, sometimes they create hindrance in your work by blocking buttons at the top and also can’t be dismissed even if you want to.
Jailbreak community has come with a solution called NCQuickDismiss, a Cydia tweak which not only allows you to dismiss notification and banner alerts easily but also Notification Center shade. Once you have installed it on your device, an “X” button will start appearing opposite to notifications and banner alerts. Therefore, as soon as you receive any notification or banner alert just dismiss it easily by clicking the “X” button that appears on the banner.
