MissedReminder – Repetitive Audio, Alerts and LED Flash Call Reminders for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G Jailbreak Tweak

MissedReminder Flash Icon

At time you can miss an incoming call without even noticing the alert and ringtone but there is no repetitive notinifcation which informs you that you had a missed call therefore Jailbreak community has come up with MissedReminder Jailbreak Tweak for iPhone. MissedReminder allows you to set repetitive reminders which play a short tone after defined interval, display visual alerts after defined interval and flash LED light (on iPhone 4 only).

As we have already reviewed I’m Busy SMS which also allows you to set Flash LED repetitive reminders but the functionality is limited to LED notifications only. MissedReminder’s short ringtone reminders after 3-5 mins are very useful for office work.

Apple is incorporating new Notification System in iOS 5 which is currently available in Betas for developers only. It has been confirmed that reminders and alerts are part and parcel of new iOS and may be Apple incorporates Blackberry type multicolored LED for notifications but so far the specifications of next generation iPhone are not clear.

MissedReminder 1.0-2 is available for Jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch for a price of 0.99 US$ however it can be installed from xSellize Repo using the procedure here for trial purposes but if you like the tweak please buy it from Cydia.

In order to enjoy these Applications and Tweaks you need to Jailbreak so you might like to see Redsn0w Jailbreak  & JailbreakMe or to Jailbreak while preserving your baseband (software unlock) see TinyUmbrella,  SnowBreeze &  PwnageTool.
