Things are not turning up well for Android devices for quite some time. Previously we have been informed about Android Malware Imitates Google+ and spies on your phone call followed by Android Trojan Record Phone Calls. Now members of AndroidPolice Team have discovered a major security flaw in recently launched HTC Android phones. This Security vulnerability allows any one to get a complete access of user logs.
Every time you perform an action such as email, SMS, GPS, Call, HTC android phone keeps a log of that data with help of HTC logging tools which comes pre-loaded in latest updates to these devices. The most unfortunate part is yet to come as this logged data then an be accessible to any application via internet. The would immediately let any developer to write an application, access the data and use it for any means.
This huge security flaw has been found in Android phones manufactured in Taiwan. Models vulnerable to data theft includes EVO 4G, EVO 3D, Thunderbolt, EVO Shift 4G, MyTouch 4G Slide, the upcoming Vigor, some Sensation models and probably others too. A video demonstration has also been provided by AndroiPolice Team which clearly shows the security vulnerability.
