iPhone 4S AT&T Preorders Broke Sales Records, 200,000 orders in 12 hours

AT&T has received more than 200,000 pre-orders for iPhone 4S in 12 hours which broke all previous records of iPhone launch which made iPhone 4S the most popular debut as far as Apple devices are concerned. According to AT&T there has been “extraordinary demand” for the new iPhone 4S. Verizon and Sprint are also providing iPhone 4S pre-orders. As the announcement of new iPhone 4S took 16 months which is longer than expected and with the specifications behind the iPhone 4S equipped with A5 dual core processor, Siri assistant and 8 MP camera with 1080p video recording make it the user’s choice.

Incorporation of intelligent antenna which can switch between GSM and CDMA modes with 8 hours of battery time make it a better choice for frequent travelers and adventurers. The announcement and release gap had seen the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs however the Company sees the iPhone 4S as the major sale record breaker. Moreover its the first time that the product is launched from all the three major US operators simultaneously i.e. AT&T, Verizon and Sprint however Verizon and Sprint have not shared their pre-sales records.

After the sad demise of Apple co-founder the stocks of the company had seen a drop of 2% amounting to $7.57.
