iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Untethered Jailbreak is Ready After Sandbox Issue Resolved by Dream Team

In previous update, hackers mentioned that the major hurdle which is actually stopping the release of iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Untethered jailbreak was an escape from Sandbox but just know pod2g has confirmed on his blog by mentioning both @planetbeing and @saurik that finally they have managed to escaped from the sandbox issue and now no major hurdle has left for the A5 jailbreak release.

@planetbeing escaped from the sandbox with the help of @saurik. Thanks to their awesome work, there should be nothing left blocking for the A5 jailbreak.

Now it should be a matter of days. Still no precise ETA of course.

Apart from the breaking of sandbox issue, pod2g has also mentioned without giving any estimated time line that iPhone 4S and iPad 2 untethered jailbreak release should be a mater of days. We are keeping our eyes open and expecting the release at coming weekend. As soon as the updates are available for main jailbreaking tools such as Redsn0w, pwnageTool and Greenpois0n (or Corona) you will be seeing tutorials and guides to perform Untethered jailbreak on your iPhone 4 and iPad 2 devices.

However, it is pertinent to mention here that Unthered jailbreak will be available for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 devices running iOS 5.0.1 firmware. Therefore, if you have not upgraded your device yet then do it now by download firmware for iPhone 4S from here and iPad 2 from here and make sure you follow the guide here to save SHSH blobs after upgrade.
