Today, Apple has also released iOS 5 Beta 6 for iOS developers and could be a final beta version before launch.
You must be already aware of current procedure being used to update or install Apps for Apple App Store. In current version of iOS, if you try to install or update any app from App Store, it will navigate you to home Page and show the animated progress bar. However, procedure is going shorten in upcoming iOS5 operating system. Users will be able to download and update all apps from App store without being booted out to the Home page to watch an animated progress bar.
It means, Once you navigate to app in iOS 5 which needs to be updated within the App Store Updates page, all you need to do is simply click the update button and it will automatically start the updating app in background. As soon as it is completed, the button will convert into an Installed label.
Same feature will also work for all those applications which have been purchased previously from App Store. All
yet to be installed apps will be listed with an iCloud icon that enables you to “install from the cloud.
Users will still be able to update all apps in one go by just clicking on Update All button but it will return you to the Home screen where each app will be updated one by one.
