How to Enable Multitasking Gestures and Video Mirroring on the iPad 1 (Without Jailbreaking)

Recently we have reported you about any easy guide on how to activate airplay on iPhone 4S and iPad2 loaded with latest iOS 4 allows you to share you display on your TV. Users having iPad1 are being forced to upgrade on iPad2 due to nonavailability new features such as Multitasking Gestures and Video mirroring. Similarly after the launch of Apple’s iOS 5, many new features released with it have been made hardware dependent and only available to work on apple’s iPhone 4S which was lauched just three weeks ago. Siri Assitant feaure which has create a buzz all around the world is a clear example as it can only be used on iPhone 4S but hackers are working day and night and already succeeded to to port it on iPhone 4 running iOS 5.

Similarly iPad 1 users have been left deprived of Multitasking Gestures and Airplay Video mirroring features. Thanks to the hackers community who prepared a little workaround which bring these features on your iPad 1 without jailbreaking your device. Please following the below mentioned step by step guide in order to enable Multitasking Gestures and Video Mirroring features on iPad 1.

1-   Download  modified version of redsnOw for Mac from here and for Windows from here.

2-   Unzip and run the download RedsnOw Zip folder.

3-   Put your iPad 1 into DFU mode like you normally does while jailbreaking your iDevice.

Note:- Make sure you uncheck “Install Cydia” and checked “Enable multitask gestures”.

4-    Process will take few minutes and restarts to implement the hack. Once it’s done, go to Settings > General, and you wil be able to see the multitasking option.
