How To Download And Install Leaked Official Android 4.0.4 ICS Update On Nexus S 4G [Tutorial]

An amazing news has come for Nexus S 4G users on sprint network as an XDA developer mrxkills has just made available all files required for Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update. This official leaked version comes with a build number IMM26 and works pretty well as confirmed by another senior XDA developer swamp goblin. Therefore, those who don’t want to wait for the offical OTA update then follow the below mentioned procedure to download and install it on your devices.

Whats Needed

1-  Download ODIN 1.83  from here

2-  Download IMM26 Production Firmware from here.

Note:

It is suggested that you should extract above mentioned firmware files after downloading.

3-  Download Kernel For ICS Wimax IDK Files from here

Procedure

1-   Make sure you that Samsung KIES is completed shut down.

2-   Launch ODIN and don’t modify the default checkbox (DO NOT select EFS clear or you will wipe PRL)

3-   Select the software files as follows:

Bootloader: SPH-D720-IMM26-BootLoader-signed.tar (checksum: 7d8b0ad9617b832eeac8786dac2305a9) 
PDA: SPH-D720LE-IMM26-PDA Signed.tar (checksum: e3c8e116fbb8668bf3ad0d0cd8b16ed6) 
Phone: SPH-D720LE-IMM26-Modem-Signed.tar (cheksum: c346cc28067305bec764f061d9a57098)

4-   Now requires flashing via Fastboot whereas Checksums For The IMG Files are as follows:

5-   If you have properly followed the above mentioned steps then your device will now be rebooted into leaked official Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
