Owners of original Eee Pad Transformer TF101 have been anxiously waiting for official as well as stable release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich update expected to arrive in a month or so. However, those who don’t want to wait for the official release can now get their hands on unofficial working version of Android 4.0.3 ICS.
Whats Not Working
- Sometimes wakes from suspend by itself (usually when suspending via the screen timeout)
- WiFi breaks after suspend, and causes slowdown as the kernel goes crazy
- No sensors (accelerometer, compass etc)
- No GPS
- No mass storage
- No backlight control
- No camera
- No audio input

Whats needed
1- Make sure that Eee Pad TF101 is rooted and has ClockworkMod Recovery installed in it.
2- Download Android 4.0.3 ICS for Eee Pad TF01 from here.
3- Download ICS Google Apps from here.
Procedure
1- Boot your Eee Pad TF101 into ClockworkMod Recovery using ROM Manager.
2- Once you are in ClockworkMod Recovery, first choose wipe data / factory reset and then wipe Dalvik cache as well as wipe cache.
3- Next step is to to flash ROM by going to “install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard >” and select tf101-ics4.0.3-20120121-cwm.zip.
4- Repeat step 2 to flash icygappsv2.zip.
5- Reboot your device now from the option available in main menu.
If you have properly followed the above mentioned steps then your Eee Pad Transformer TF101 will be running now Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Moreover, you can also download and install apps like SetCPU, No-frills CPU control orAntuantu to enhance the efficiency of the device.
