Google Internally Testing ICS 4.0 on Nexus S for Google Employees Only

Recently Google released Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 source code as a result of which many unofficial Custom ROMs have already surfaced on the web for older devices. But now news has come for official Android Ice Cream sandwich ROM which currently being tested by Google Employees on Nexus S handsets.

The confirmation has come from one of the Google employees Adel Saoud who shared on Google+ that he received the Ice Cream Sandwich update on his Nexus S handset.

Another confirmation was received from a Google Employee name as Adnan Hodzic mentioning about ICS 4.0 OTA update

Yeah an OTA, but it’s an early one for Google employees so we test it further so it’s even more awesome when you guys get it. So sadly I can’t comment on it more at this time…

Although no official announcement has come yet from Google regarding Nexus S Android Ice Cream Sandwich OTA update but it is expected that testing will be completed soon and user will be able to get OTA updates within two weeks.
