Google has released a new version of Google+ App with small update for iOS. The new update fixes a number of annoyances and bugs along with few new settings.  It also brings iPad, iPod Touch support for the very first time as it was not available in its previous version.

Moreover, Google has combined your notifications so now each +1, comment and circle addition would not be separated into its own notification and grouped together by type. In addition to that, it has also added a few more settings like you can pick your stream view or choose who can add you to a huddle. Therefore, if you were already fed up of by the app’s annoyances then you should definitely want to grab the new update at the earliest and give it another try.

It is important note here that today’s update does not mean that the Google+ app is now universal. This update only let iPad users to use the app via the tablet for the first time. Moreover, the app is also not compatible with iOS 5. As soon as you try to install on an iDevice with the beta OS, it will crash.
