Google’s next major update of Android OS called Ice Cream Sandwich was supposed to be launched on 11 October in joint Google and Samsung Event but got delayed in respect of the demise of Steve Jobs. However, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich built-in applications has already started surfacing ahead of the event. Just now we have reported about Android Market build 3.2.0 leaked from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and made available for download and install.
Now Google’s most popular and biggest competitor of Facebook social service called Google+ Version 2.0.0 leaked with support for Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich. Android Police claims that these leaked apps have been taken from a Verizon Ice Cream Sandwich device:
As you can see, the update doesn’t bring much in way of function, but it does bring a nice aesthetic update. There is one key thing missing, however: the widget. That’s right — for some reason, the widget is nowhere to be found… but only on phones. This is most likely still a test build, so I would expect the widget to pop back up in the future. It is still available on tablets, and it’s a major upgrade from the current widget.
The best part of it is, installation procedure is quite simple as you only have to download the .apk file on your Android smartphone/tablet. open up the downloaded file and press on Install. All you have to make sure is turn on your Unknown sources from Settings > Applications before you download and install app on your device.
You can download Google+ 2.0.0 For Ice Cream Sandwich from here.
