Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 was lunched at IFA 2011 Berlin which displayed the promising qualities of being the Flagship device for Samsung in Tablet category. However those of you who was heading to get their hands on the device may get a bit disappointed as Samsung has deliberately vanished the signs of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 off their spot in IFA. And the only thing left was a empty banner spot with a velvet rope. The move was a reaction to German Court Decision made on 2nd September as confirmed by thedroidguy in an offical statement from Samsung which made the company made the Vanishing move for Galaxy Tab 7.7.

Samsung respects the court’s decision (The District Court in Dusseldorf) made on September 2 and therefore decided not to display any more the GALAXY Tab 7.7 in IFA.
However, we believe it severely limits consumer choice in Germany. Samsung will pursue all available measures, including legal options, to defend its intellectual property rights and ensure its innovative products remain available to German consumers.
Will Samsung be able to promote and sell Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Germany after this court decision is the question which time will answer.
