Download Winterboard For iOS 5

Recently we reported you about a unofficial version of  Winterboard for iOS 5 along with installation procedure on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. Now an official version of Winterboard for iOS 5 has been released and available in Cydia for free.

All those reader who are new to Cydia Winterboard app, it basically allows you to customize your iDevice look by installing various themes available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices.  However, before you proceed ahead it is pertinent to mention here that there is no untethered jailbreak released for any iDevice yet and no jailbreaking is available for iPad2, iPhone 4S devices. Finally you won’t find as many winterboard themes for iOS 5 as they are available in case of iOS 4.x.

Whats Needed

1-   Your iPhone,iPad and iPod Touch must be Jailbroken.Click here to tethered Jailbreak iOS 5 using RedSnOw. You can also jailbreak iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on iOS 4.3.5 using RedSnow, iOS 4.3.3 using Redsn0w, JailbreakMe or to Jailbreak while preserving your baseband (software unlock) see TinyUmbrella,  SnowBreeze &  PwnageTool.

2-   Cydia is installed [normally comes pre-installed while jailbreaking].

Procedure

1-   Launch Cydia

2-   Go to Search Tab and enter “Winterbard”

3-   Install Winterboard.
