Download And Install Android 4.0.3 ICS Build I9100XXLPB ROM On Galaxy S II [Tutorial]

Recently we reported you about the release of an official Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for Samsung Galaxy S II handset. A new build of same ROM with major improvements has been leaked and is considered to be more stable as compared to version as well as can be used as daily driver. Once again ROM was appeared on SamMobile.com, a popular blog for covering mobile products by Samsung. The new build is numbered as I9100XXLPB brings following changes:

Interface: Kind of 3D effect when scrolling. 
Battery: Lots better than early ones. 
Faster: Feels the same as LP6 
Touch: Same as LP6. 
Overall: Better score in our eyes than LP6 . 
Facelock: Same as LP6 working fine. 
Task: Same as version LP6.

Whats Needed

1-   Download ODIN 1.83  from here

2-   Download Android 4.0.3 ICS I9100XXLPB from [SamMobile]

Note:

It is suggested that you should extracted after downloading the firmware

Procedure

1-   Make sure you that Samsung KIES is completed shut down.

2-   Open ODIN

3-   Boot Galaxy S II into Download Mode by switching your device off then press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power.

4-   Connect your Galaxy S II with PC through USB cable after which ODIN will detect it.

5-   Press on PDA and choose: I9100_CODE_I9100XXLPB_CL99600_REV02_user_low_ship.tar downloaded and extracted earlier on desktop.

6-   Click on Modem and select: MODEM_I9100XXLPB_REV_02_CL1101286.tar

7-   Now click CSC and select: GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXXLP5_RST.tar

8-   Press the START button

9-   ODIN will now start flashing your selected leaked ROM to Samsung Galaxy S II. As soon as your device is rebooted, disconnect it from your PC.
