Check your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch compatibility with iOS 10 and how to obtain the iOS 10.0.1 version

Good news for all the beta testers out there. After the announcement of the iOS 10 at the Apple 7 September event , the company made available the iOS 10 GM to various developers ,and today has done the same for the general beta testers out there.

All enlisted beta testers ,who have enlisted themselves through the Apple Developer Program , can obtain the 10.0.1 GM version for testing  for iOS 10,macOS Sierra, watchOS 3 and tvOS 10. In addition to this users who have enlisted in the Apple Beta Software Program can also now obtain the 10.0.1 GM ,as of today.

If you would like to upgrade to  the iOS 10 version , which you are not using yet, you need to Enlist by going to beta.apple.com , whereby the iOS 10 GM version will be available. Users who are currently using the iOS 10 public beta version can simply switch to the latest version by going to the Settings option of your device, followed  by General options and then going to the Software Update option, here the OTA upgrade can be obtained.

If you can wait , the conclusive version of the iOS 10 will be available as of the 13th September. It will be available for iPhone, iPod and iPads.

3. iPad Air ,and Air 2
4. both the iPad Pro 9.7 and 12.9 in models

However before upgrading your device to the latest version you should make sure that you do not have a problem with iOS 10 not having been Jailbroken, as till date there is no Jailbreak available beyond iOS 9.3.3

The final macOS Sierra software version will be made available to the general public as of 20th September , however the GM version of the macSierra is also now available for all you public beta tester who want to try it out.
