Apple Ordering 56 Million Handsets before iPhone 5 Launch [Report]

Apple has ordered it handset suppliers to bear a heavy load of more than 56 Million iPhone handsets rather than 50 Million iPhone handsets for the second half of 2011 and interestingly more than half of those are iPhone 5 as reported by CultofMac.

Rumors of iPhone 5 are in the market for quite a few months and we have covered Japanese Site’s claim for 7th September Launch we had reported last month that Apple Next Generation iPhone is expected to come in second week of September 2011. Apple has lowered the orders for iPhone 5 for 3rd quarter from 7 Million units to 5.5 Million units. However the fourth quarter has been inceraed to 20 Million from 14 Million which might be a sign that next generation iPhone launch will be by the end of September or start of October 2011.

Apple will surpass 20 Million iPhones (all types) during current year. Keeping the same in view 56Million Handsets including 25-26 Million iPhone 5 are huge numbers. So we can expect a huge launch of iPhone 5 in months to come.
