Apple iPhone 5 coming in Second Week of September – iPad 2 HD or iPad 3 Delayed [Updated]

China Times claims that Apple is releasing its next generation iPhone (probably iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S) in second week of September 2011. Although many others are reporting that Apple will launch its next generation iPhone in September or October so this news does not come as a surprise. Moreover, 4 million units of next generation iPhone are expectantly produced for the initial launch.

It is also reported that appox 400,000 trial units will be available with component manufacturers before official launch of next generation iPhone. Apple is reportedly having problems in getting components manufactured for its next generation iPad (probably iPad 3 or iPad 2 HD) which will result in delayed launch of next generation iPad. Although reports from China Times can not be any authority but we would love Apple to release both next generation iPhone and next generation iPad together in September.

Apple next generation iPhone is rumored to have curved tempered glass design, much thinner than iPhone 4, Dual core processor, 8 MegaPixel and obviously a revamped iOS 5.

Apple next generation iPad is rumored to have an HD display, Dual core, better camera and an iOS 5.

However nothing is certain at this time and see whether these reports and rumors come true or otherwise but we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Update 01 Aug 11:  Report from John Paczkowski of All Things Digital claims that Apple will release the fifth generation iPhone handset in October, as opposed to September. Suggested design is as under,
