Apple iOS 5 Gold Master(GM) Expected To Release During September 23 Week

We have already covered about the release of different Beta version of iOS 5 Apple’s upcoming mobile operating system. Apple Released Last beta version called iOS 5 Beta 7  on 1st September for developers only. iOS5 will include over 200 new features available to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Some most awaited features in iOS 5 includes Notification Center, iMessage, , photos and videos between all iOS devices and Newsstand which is basically gives you a new way to purchase and organize newspaper and magazine subscriptions.

Now it has been learnt from Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed to AppleInsider that Apple’s iOS 5 Gold Master could be released on September 23 for assemblers which is just in time for a mid-October launch of the long-awaited iPhone 5. according to AppleInsider:

A release of iOS 5 to assemblers the week of Sept. 23 means its likely finalized hardware units for the new iPhone and iPod touch will begin to ship at the end of September. With an estimated 10 to 12 days for shipping, the two new devices are likely to be available by mid-October, Kuo said.

Once software is available for assemblers, they will be able to install it on the finalized hardware and prepare it for shipping. Moreover, Apple upcoming iPhone 5 whose reservations has already been started will be launched with preinstalled iOS 5 in it.
