Angry Birds was released in December 2009 for the first time on iOS devices and there are more than one and half years have been passed but the craze is still not over. Angry Birds comes as free version as well as paid ad-free version with 3 different version including Angry Birds Original, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons, all these version combined have surpassed 350 million downloads including 12 million paid ones from AppStore. Its impressive but this is not all as Rovio’s general manager Andrew Stalbow says that mobile device users play Angry Birds for more than 300 million minutes everyday collectively.
Rovio will be pretty happy with the performance as the game has already generated a round fund of $1.2 billion which is more than enough to keep the game play extremely addictive. The reason Angry Birds continuously sends update by adding new levels into the game with the resent one Angry Birds Season for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and the addictive game play which makes you complete the levels as quickly as possible and then waiting for the update to come in order to add new levels in to the game.
Angry Birds by Rovio is one of the top performers on all major Smartphone platforms including iOS, Android, Symbian and Windows Phone.
